This notice explains what happens to the information you share with TY Leo Battery through this website. It is written to match how the site actually behaves, so a few points may be more specific than you expect.
Who we are
TY Leo Battery supplies and installs car batteries in Kuching and Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. You can reach us at protyleobattery@gmail.com, +60 16-724 5399 (Kuching) or +60 19-717 5399 (Kota Samarahan).
What the order form collects
The order form asks for:
- your vehicle registration number and the car's make and model
- your name, phone number and email address
- your location, only if you tap Use my current location and allow your browser to share it
- which branch should serve you
Nothing you type is sent to a server of ours. The form runs entirely in your browser and, when you press the final button, opens WhatsApp with those details written into a draft message. Nothing reaches us until you choose to send that message. If you close the page instead, the details go nowhere and are not kept.
Location
If you allow it, your browser gives the page your coordinates so it can show a pin on the map and put a Google Maps link into the WhatsApp draft, which is how our technician finds your car. We do not store coordinates on this website, and the page does not ask for your location until you reach the location step. You can refuse, and the order still works.
Once you send the WhatsApp message
From that point the message sits in our WhatsApp account and is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own terms. We keep these conversations for as long as we need them to carry out the job, answer follow-up questions and meet our record-keeping obligations.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which parts of
the page they read. It sets cookies (typically _ga and
_ga_*) and sends Google your approximate location derived from your
IP address, along with your device and browser type and the pages you view. We do
not use it for advertising, and we do not send it your name, phone number or
email.
You can block this by refusing cookies in your browser, browsing privately, or installing Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.
Other services on the page
- Google Maps — the embedded maps load from Google, which receives your IP address when they render.
- Google Fonts — the typeface is served by Google.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — used for the order hand-off and the contact buttons.
Your rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it. Email protyleobattery@gmail.com and we will respond. Because the website itself stores nothing, such a request is really about the WhatsApp conversation and any job records that followed it.

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date above.
